Vaccines - January 2021 small update

Vaccinations and COVID-19 Management reports that DOI continues to strongly recommend following CDC guidelines with regards to the pandemic. At this time, DOI/NPS will not be offering vaccinations at their Wellness Center. Leave will need to be used for anyone planning to take the vaccine during duty hours. Vaccination will not be required as a condition of employment. Most employees will not receive priority for getting vaccinated. If you are among those NPS employees who have contracted or been exposed to the COVID-19 coronavirus, regardless of whether this occurred while on duty or off duty, please contact Dr. Maria Said, Epidemiology Branch Chief of the Service’s Office of Public Health at maria_said@nps.gov, so that the NPS can assure proper contact tracing and quarantine measures and give you needed information.
