Federal Workers Legal Defense Network 

As NTEU members, you have access to dedicated and experienced leaders and stewards in your chapters, as well as expert legal representation provided by NTEU staff on matters directly impacting your workplace rights.

As part of our continued efforts to collaborate with other unions and like-minded organizations in the fight for federal employees’ rights, NTEU has partnered with the AFL-CIO and a dozen other organizations to launch the Federal Workers Legal Defense Network. This new initiative provides certain free legal services beyond what NTEU offers to federal workers who have been adversely impacted by the Trump administration’s attack on civil servants. While NTEU continues to lead in the courts, grievances, etc. on behalf of our members, this network will be able to answer some basic questions members may have on any number of topics. And for members who have questions about issues that NTEU is already or will be handling, they will be redirected to an NTEU point of contact.
