D.C. Circuit Grants Government Request to
    Pause Favorable District Court Ruling

Today, in a 2-1 decision, the D.C. Circuit (federal appeals court) granted the government's request to pause the effect of a favorable April 25 district court order.  That order granted NTEU's request to stop—that is, it preliminarily enjoin—the President’s Executive Order stripping collective bargaining rights from tens of thousands of NTEU members.

The D.C. Circuit agreed to put that district court order on hold—and allow the Executive Order to continue in effect—until the government's appeal of the district court's favorable ruling is resolved.

Our fight continues at the D.C. Circuit, which will now consider the government's appeal.  NTEU will fight to defend the district court's ruling in our favor.  However long the path, we will work to get the district court's injunction against the Executive Order put back into place. We will keep you posted on further developments.
