Your Grassroots Action Checklist for this Week:

Remind your Senators to oppose provisions that threaten the federal workforce in the Budget Reconciliation bill. Thanks to our collective efforts many of the harmful provisions have been removed, but members of Congress still need to hear from us to ensure anti-worker provisions are not included in the final bill. We need a budget that supports federal employees and the American people—not one that undermines them!

Personalize your messages – When sending a letter from the action center, take a moment to add your personal story, especially on the issues that matter to you the most.

Spread the word – Encourage your fellow union members, family, and friends to take action too!  Attacks on federal employees hurt everyone. When public servants are undercut, vital services suffer—and so do the American people.

Plan to attend a local Town Hall - With Congress heading home for July recess next week, now’s your chance to speak directly to your Legislators. Look for upcoming town halls in your area and make your voice heard. Find events in your area by visiting NTEU’s Mobilize page at mobilize.us/nteu
