Because of TEPAC, we have won benefits like 12 weeks of Paid Parental Leave, pay raises, and the restoration of full social security retirement benefits for certain federal employees. Most recently, our efforts helped block harmful provisions in the budget reconciliation bill that would have negatively impacted federal employees. This did not happen by accident. It happened because of our collective efforts and because we have a strong, united voice through our Political Action Committee, TEPAC.
But the fight is far from over. Our opponents are well-funded and determined, and the policies they push can resurface at any time. That’s why we need every NTEU member to step up and strengthen our collective voice through TEPAC.
