Lawmakers Join NTEU in Urging Administration to Scrap NDA Proposal

Days after NTEU  opposed a proposal for a governmentwide non-disclosure agreement (NDA), a group of House Democrats is sounding a similar alarm.

The group of 44 lawmakers, led by Reps. Greg Landsman (D-OH) and Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-IL),  warned the Office of Personnel Management that requiring NDAs would block whistleblowing, undermine government accountability, and erode the integrity of the nonpartisan civil service.

This proposed NDA is designed to intimidate federal employees and chill their lawful and legally protected speech. NTEU is fighting in multiple venues to protect our members' First Amendment rights, including your right to speak up and support the union.
