NTEU is endorsing the Constituent Services Impacts of Federal Workforce Firings Act (H.R. 10036) designed to investigate how sweeping federal workforce reductions affect public service delivery. 

Rep. Brittany Pettersen (D-CO) introduced the legislation last week in the House. The bill directs the Government Accountability Office (GAO) to conduct a comprehensive study on the consequences of federal RIFs, hiring freezes, massive layoffs, reclassifications, and downsizings.
