NTEU Urges Congress to Monitor Employees’ Return to Workplaces
NTEU sent letters to leaders of the House and Senate oversight committees urging them to monitor agencies as employees are called back to workplaces and ensure that they have the flexibility, equipment and supplies necessary to keep federal employees safe. Specifically, NTEU asked the committees to ensure that agencies are taking every precaution to protect employees in this current environment, including conducting COVID-19 testing and contact tracing, cleaning and disinfecting all workspaces and common areas, ensuring safe physical distancing, and other measures.
