Agencies Developing Plans for Returning to Offices

The administration has advised federal agencies that they must submit final return to work plans with the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) by July 19.

Those plans should include phased returns and must follow applicable public health and workplace safety guidance. Agencies were also instructed to follow all collective bargaining obligations.

NTEU is in touch with the agencies where we represent employees to begin discussions on how agencies are developing these plans, initiate any appropriate bargaining and ensure that employees have plenty of notice before they are required to return to their workplaces.
