Senate Confirms Cathy Harris to the MSPB

The Senate last week confirmed the nomination of Cathy Harris to be a member of the Merit Systems Protection Board (MSPB).

NTEU voiced support for Harris, who is well qualified for this position and has a long career as a federal employment attorney. Her confirmation will further help the MSPB tackle the backlog of cases. The MSPB had a backlog of more than 3,500 cases after the Board lost its quorum several years ago.
