Greenwald Appointed to Federal Salary Council

President Biden has appointed National President Doreen Greenwald to the Federal Salary Council, a panel of federal employment experts that advises the administration on issues related to federal employee pay. Greenwald will use this position to fight for fair federal salaries and make public service a more competitive choice.

The Federal Salary Council studies federal pay, monitors the year-to-year changes in the gap between federal and private sector pay, and makes recommendations on locality pay areas.

“I am honored to represent NTEU members on the Federal Salary Council and will work to pursue pay policies that help the government recruit and retain skilled employees across the country,” said Greenwald. Read more
