NTEU Chapter 296 Elections 2020-2021 

Final Election Report

The election for the offices of Second Vice President and Treasurer was conducted by electronic secret ballot from 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, through 12:00 pm (noon) on Monday, February 1, 2021. Following the close of the election, the Nominations and Election Committee reviewed the ballots cast.

Second Vice President

Jennifer Sieracki      32 votes

Emelda Zuschlag      9 votes

Jennifer Sieracki received a plurality of votes for the office of Second Vice President and is declared the winner.

Treasurer

Karen Mudar         23 votes

Katy Wyman-Young     18 votes

Karen Mudar received a plurality of votes for the office of Treasurer and is declared the winner.

As stated in our January 15, 2021, report to members, the candidates for President, First Vice President, and Secretary were unopposed, and, therefore, declared to be duly elected to the offices for which they were candidates.

The following officers have been elected for a three-year term of office in Chapter 296, effectively immediately:

First Vice-President    Liz Petrella

Second Vice President    Jennifer Sieracki

Secretary   Emily Button Kambic

Treasurer   Karen Mudar
