Dear NTEU Members:

This will be the last message I send as NTEU National President, and it is altogether appropriate that my final words from this desk are to the members of this great union.

You are the lifeblood of NTEU, and it has been the honor of my professional life to represent you.

Your steadfast support has strengthened our union and made it possible for us to fight for, and win, the rights, protections and benefits embedded in your contracts and your workplaces.

We are a strong union with a well-deserved reputation for delivering the best contracts and representation in the federal sector. But NTEU is more than that. Together we are a community of people who stand tall—proud of serving the American public, unafraid of speaking out and pressing for change that improves lives of employees and strengthens the agencies you dedicated yourselves to when you accepted a job as a federal employee.

As you move forward, I am confident that NTEU will continue to excel as a united voice for federal employees and I am excited to see what you do next.

I want to thank you for your membership and support of our union and for your service to our country.
