NTEU Chapter 296 Charter

The National Treasury Employees Union did on the first day of July 2019, pursuant to
Constitutional amendments adopted at the 43rd National Convention, issue a Charter to Chapter 296,
National Park Service Headquarters, National Park Service, Department of the Interior, employees
whose official workstations are considered part of the Headquarters Office of the National Park Service
located throughout the United States. Those accepting this Charter agree to be governed by the terms
and conditions set forth in the provisions of the Constitution adopted at the First National Convention
of the Union, held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on October fifth, sixth and seventh, 1939, and as such
Constitution has been or may be amended by subsequent National Conventions of the Union.
