NTEU Supports Proposed Rule to Limit Agency Relocations

NTEU is supporting a pending petition with the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) to establish rules to prevent ill-advised agency relocations that force federal employees to either move hundreds of miles away or lose their jobs.

If implemented, the rules would require federal agencies that are considering moving offices to distant locations to first consult employees, analyze the cost and ensure that the move would not result in massive staff departures or loss of diversity.
