Senate passes FY 2021 Omnibus Spending and Coronavirus Relief Bill |

SUMMARY: Following House passage earlier this evening, the Senate passed the FY 2021 omnibus spending and coronavirus relief bill. The Senate has passed the FY 2021 omnibus spending and coronavirus relief bill that funds the government for the remainder of FY 2021 and will provide additional coronavirus relief to those impacted by the pandemic. The House passed the bill earlier today, it now heads to the White House where the President is expected to sign it. Since government funding expires at midnight tonight, the Senate also followed the House in passing a seven-day continuing resolution to avoid a government shutdown while lawmakers prepare this massive spending bill for President Trump’s signature |
