October Per Diem Rates to Rise
Last week, the General Services Administration announced a lodging per diem rate increase for fiscal year 2024.

Beginning Oct. 1, the standard lodging rate will be $107 per night (up from $98). The standard daily reimbursement rates for meals and incidental expenses will remain at $59, non-standard tiers are unchanged at $59-$79.

Both Huntsville, AL, and Charles Town, W.V., will be added to the list of non-standard areas; 16 other regions are now added back to the standard per diem rate category. Noted non-standard areas (NSA) have per diem rates higher than the standard due to higher costs in those locations.
