2024 NTEU Priority Issues

The NTEU Legislative Advisory Committee (LAC) met on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, to determine the issues NTEU will focus on during the 2024 Legislative Conference and throughout the year.  NTEU will focus on these issues during the 2024 Legislative Grassroots Event and throughout 2024.  

1. Increasing federal employee pay
2. Protecting and enhancing benefits
3. Ensuring agency funding and staffing
4. Safeguarding workplace rights and safety
5. Telework and remote work

The LAC is made up of members/representatives from several chapters that NTEU represents.
