NTEU Supports New Impasses Panel Members President Biden yesterday named 10 members to the Federal Service Impasses Panel (FSIP). The panel is a component of the Federal Labor Relations Authority (FLRA) tasked with resolving bargaining impasses between unions and federal agencies. NTEU voiced support for the new members, who do not require Senate confirmation. Their experience in federal labor-management relations makes them well-qualified for their role in reaching fair resolutions to bargaining impasses. In February, President Biden demanded the resignation of the 10 former panel members, all of whom were appointed by the previous administration and were notorious for siding against unions at almost every turn. |
