Congress is Racing to Make a Deal on CR Extension The continuing resolution (CR) that is keeping the government funded expires Friday. The House is expected to introduce a short-term CR to potentially run through late January, and Congress is expected to pass it before Friday. NTEU supports a CR that avoids a government shutdown particularly during the holiday season. As negotiations continue, NTEU will keep pushing for congressional approval of full-year adequate agency funding. Stay tuned for updates. |
