NTEU Supports EO on Diversity, Inclusion

Today, National President Tony Reardon expressed the union’s support of a presidential executive order on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility (DEIA) in the federal workforce.

In a letter to the Office of Personnel Management and the Office of Management and Budget, Reardon said NTEU has a strong interest in working closely with the administration and agency leaders in developing and implementing strategic plans around DEIA.

“NTEU has been a leader in the federal sector in combatting discrimination in compensation, performance appraisals and working conditions at our agencies and is currently examining ways to heighten our DEIA efforts in the workplace at the national and local level,” Reardon wrote.
