NTEU Opposes Budget Plan Attacking Federal Pay and Benefits

The Republican Study Committee last week released its annual budget plan, which would do away with annual across-the-board pay raises; cut the amount of paid leave; and “reform” the General Schedule.

It proposes reducing or eliminating annual cost of living adjustments for federal retirees and calculating annuity benefits using the highest five years of an employee’s salary, rather than the current high three.
