President Reardon Talks NTEU Milestones on Podcast

On Friday’s America’s Workforce Union podcast, National President Tony Reardon reflected on his two terms at the union’s helm and more than 33 years with NTEU before he retires next week.

Reardon highlighted the union’s 20-year fight for paid parental leave, the historic investment in the IRS and rebuilding labor-management relations after the previous administration. He also looked back at some of the union’s most formidable challenges—including the 35-day government shutdown, the pandemic and the three executive orders that threatened the civil service and federal unions. Listen to the full interview.
