Funding Remains on Congress’ To-Do List

The headlines from Capitol Hill are focused on high-profile issues but while the media has taken a pause on following funding for the federal government, NTEU has not.

As a reminder, the government is operating on a continuing resolution that extends funding, under a laddered approach, through March 1 and March 8. This extension was aimed at providing time for both the House and Senate to complete work on individual appropriations bills to fund the government for the remainder of this fiscal year.

The clock continues to tick to these funding deadlines and NTEU continues to urge Congress to fund the government at appropriate levels for the rest of the fiscal year.
