    The U.S. Senate continues to confirm Cabinet-level appointments.
     
    As the Senate continues to act on President Trump’s cabinet nominees, I wanted to provide you with a brief update on which nominees to lead agencies where NTEU represents employees have been confirmed in the last week, and which we expect to see voted on next week. This week, the Senate confirmed: 
    1. Russell Vought to be the Director of the Office of Management and Budget, by a vote of 53-47;
    2. Pam Bondi to be the U.S. Attorney General, by a vote of 54-46; and
    3. Chris Wright to be Secretary of the Department of Energy, by a vote of 59-48. 
    Next week, we expect the Senate to consider the nominations of:
    1. Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., to be Secretary of Health and Human Services;
    2. Howard Lutnick, to be Secretary of Commerce; and
    3. Brooke Rollins, to be Secretary of Agriculture. 
    I will continue providing updates on the status of pending nominations.
