NTEU-Endorsed Social Security Legislation Passes the House

The House passed the NTEU-endorsed Social Security Fairness Act last week, which boosts Social Security benefits for retirees by putting more money into their pockets. The bill repeals the Windfall Elimination Provision (WEP) and Government Pension Offset (GPO). For years these two laws have caused retirees and their survivors to lose money they rightfully earned.
