Employees at the Bureau of Land Management’s Rio Puerco field office in New Mexico voted to join NTEU yesterday. The New Mexico employees help manage federal lands outside Albuquerque.
With this election victory, the bargaining unit employees are now part of NTEU Chapter 340 (BLM New Mexico). This is the third representation election this year as the Rio Puerco employees join their colleagues in Taos, N.M., and Headquarters in choosing NTEU representation.
